Abstract

This paper introduces a new sufficient condition for Cauchyness on sequences in controlled metric spaces. This sufficient condition can improve many pre-existing fixed point results under weaker hypotheses. Applying this sufficient condition, I establish some fixed point theorems involving nonlinear Ćirić type contraction via control functions in controlled metric spaces and present numerical examples to show the validity
